Loan Products

Maendeleo Group Loan is a loan product specially designed for registered groups which a doing socio-economic activities.

It is a short term facility offered by KCBL for a period of one year to customers (Co-operatives, Individuals, Companies and other organizations) for the business at the maximum level of cash (overdraft limit) that allows current account holders to write cheques or make withdrawals.

These are loans guaranteed by Government through Agricultural Input Trust Fund for agricultural inputs in duration of 12-24 months.

This loan scheme is designed to assist all salaried workers; these loans are provided to employees in different formal sector for a duration from12-24 months.

KCBL Trade loans allows the customer to borrow money from the bank as a working capital and repay the money back with flexible repayment installment schedule every month.

These loans are offered for 12-24 months, and guaranteed by Government to finance individual and economic groups who have no access to conventional financial institutions, for undertaking economic activities.

The KCBL is proud to be a founder of this system after realizing that it is not possible for an ordinary farmer to have a mortgage and obtain a loan from the Bank and as a result one of its activities currently is the coffee financing arrangement between KCBL and the Agricultural Marketing Co-operative Societies (AMCOS) also known as Rural Co-operative Societies (RCS)
